Account and Data Deletion

Last updated: 16 July 2026

On Mon you can delete your account and your personal data at any time. Here we explain how, and what happens to your information.

1. Deleting your account from the app

  1. Open Mon and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Select Delete account and confirm.

2. Requesting deletion without access to the app

If you cannot access the app, write to monsocial@rodriguezstudio.es from the email address associated with your account stating your deletion request. We will verify your identity before proceeding.

3. What data is deleted

When you delete your account we erase or anonymise your personal data: profile, photos, albums, stories, messages, matches, preferences, usage data and the result of the “real person” verification associated with your account.

4. What happens to communities, meetups and services

5. What data we may retain and for how long

Due to legal obligations or legitimate interests we may retain certain information for the legally required periods: billing and transaction records (payments, meetups and services), data necessary for fraud and abuse prevention, and data linked to reports, moderation or legal requirements. This information is kept in a limited manner and is deleted once those periods expire. Technical backups may take additional time to be purged completely.

6. Timescales

Deletion takes effect within 30 days of the request, except for data subject to the legal retention described above.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription taken out through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancel it as well from the settings of your account in the relevant store. See Payment terms.
