Terms for Payments, Subscriptions, Meetups and Services
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms supplement the Terms and Conditions and apply to any payment made on Mon.
1. Paid products and services
- Mon Premium: paid subscription that unlocks additional features (for example, removing
advertising, extending filters and the search area, and creating certain content). Available
plans (the prices in force are shown in the app before purchase):
- Weekly: €3.99/week, with a 3-day free trial.
- Monthly: €9.99/month.
- Six-monthly: €49.99 for 6 months.
- Boost / other products: one-off purchases that improve visibility or other features, as offered in the app.
- Paid meetups: meetups or events organised by users of a community that may require payment of a ticket or fee.
- Paid individual services: 1:1 sessions (for example classes, coaching or therapy) that a provider offers within a community and which may have a price.
2. How payments are processed
- Subscriptions and in-app purchases (Premium and Boost) are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed with RevenueCat. Billing, renewal and cancellation are also governed by the conditions of the relevant store.
- Paid meetups and services are processed through Stripe. The distribution of funds to the organiser or provider is carried out via Stripe Connect. Mon applies a service fee on these payments, which is indicated before completing the purchase.
3. Subscription renewal and cancellation
- The Premium subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (weekly, monthly or six-monthly) unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You can cancel at any time from the settings of your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- The 3-day free trial applies to the weekly plan. If it is not cancelled before it ends, it converts into a paid subscription at the price of the corresponding plan.
4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As a consumer in the EU you generally have 14 calendar days to withdraw from a distance contract without needing to give a reason.
Exception for digital content and services: by activating a paid feature with immediate performance (for example Premium or a Boost), you expressly request that performance begin immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. For partially performed services, you may be entitled to a refund of the portion not enjoyed, in accordance with applicable law.
5. Refunds
- Purchases managed by the stores (Premium/Boost): refund requests are processed in accordance with the policies of Apple or Google, which are the parties handling the charge.
- Paid meetups and services: the cancellation and refund policy is defined by the organiser or the provider within legal limits and is shown before purchase. The app allows you to request a refund from the organiser/provider, who may accept or reject it. In the event of overbooking of capacity, the system may apply an automatic refund. Mon acts as a technical intermediary for the payment and is neither the organiser nor the provider.
6. Capacity and availability
Meetups may have limited capacity. When you start a purchase, a place may be temporarily held for a few minutes; if the payment is not completed, the place is released. 1:1 services are booked by time slots and each slot is individual.
7. Paid organisers and providers
If you organise paid meetups or provide paid services:
- You are responsible for the event or service towards attendees or clients and must comply with applicable legislation (consumer, tax, safety and, where applicable, health or professional).
- To receive payments you must complete the registration and identity verification (KYC) required by Stripe, and have an active Premium subscription and, where applicable, a verified community.
- You are responsible for your tax obligations on the amounts received.
- Mon may withhold or reverse payments in cases of fraud, dispute or breach, and you cannot edit the price of a ticket or slot already sold without refunding it first.
8. Third-party events (Ticketmaster and similar)
The events section may include third-party events. In that case, the purchase is made on the third party’s site (for example, Ticketmaster) and is governed by their conditions; Mon does not sell those tickets, it only links to them and may receive an affiliate commission at no additional cost to you. Any refund or issue with a third-party ticket must be handled with that third party. See Terms and Conditions, section 12.
9. Taxes
The prices shown include applicable taxes where so indicated. Organisers and providers are responsible for the taxation of the income they obtain.
